We finally threaded some of the felt beads. Experimented with beading thread and elastic. The elastic was easier for the children to put on and take off, but I suspect that it might not be so kind to the beads over time.
The girls love their bracelets. Yeh!
They worked…did you use shirring elastic?
Yes, it was shirring elastic. I thought any thicker might increase the chance of the felt splitting. I used a sharp thin needle for the same reason. Its worked so far, but I have a feeling that the elastic might weaken the felt eventually. Oh well. I’m sure we can turn them into flowers, or something, if it comes to that!
