Yeh! Strawberry season again.
We headed down to our favourite strawberry grower in Cheddar. Bit of a family tradition. I am making jam tonight.
Lots and lots of lovely strawberry jam (recipe).
I think some of them are so big that they may just fill a jar all by themselves.
The children would have happily eaten nothing but strawberries all day.
I love strawberries!
Oh, boy…do they look tasty! We love to make strawberry jam. Tastes like sunshine itself.
So true. I love the idea of tasting like sunshine. Strawberries lightened up our day today.
Wow! Those are big berries! I always have thoughts of making jam, but somehow we always eat all the strawberries in strawberry shortcake before I ever get around to it :).
I’m not sure there is a best way to eat strawberries. Strawberry shortcake sounds really good to me. What a versatile little fruit! The tray is full of misshapen strawberries which would never have made it to the shops. Some even have legs!
Those strawberries look delicious. I’m thinking of warm weather but I’ll just have to ride out winter first. 🙂

Strawberries always taste better in season. Hope you find it worth waiting.
I LOVE strawberry jam…actually just made some tonight…l wish my srawberries looked as amazing as yours though!
These are the odd shaped strawberries, which taste yummy, but are not the classic strawberry shape. We don’t mind.
They look so beautiful – you must be getting better weather than us! 😀
Weather has gone down hill now we are in May. April was almost summery!
