Spring Cleaning

It feels like I have done nothing but clean today. At the weekend, I watched TF dancing in a sunbeam in our sitting room, wafting the dust around.  He was enjoying it. I tried my best to ignore the dust. I opened all the windows and doors, hoping the draught would suck away all the dust. It did some, but the sun also highlighted the floors and walls and cushions and curtains and…… I have tried so hard to ignore it.

Hiding outside in the garden worked for the last few days. Today, it rained, so I was stuck indoors. No escape. In the end, I just had to do a proper job. I’m not even half way through.

I’m feeling dusty and tired, albeit pleased with what I’ve accomplished. I am going to head up for a soak in the bath and my favourite homemade face mask.

Starflower mask

I’ve only just noticed that the book’s photo of the face mask, in the blue cup, looks completely different to mine. More creamy than green. Maybe not all Aloe Vera is green. With that thought I’m heading off to soak.
