Amazing detail, I’ve seen very few caterpillars this year. Looks so fluffy
Have a good Sunday and thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
I’m fascinated by the detail and how it reflects in other places.
Gorgeous detail in this photo – and you are right about the pin cushion! #MySundayPhoto
Thank you! All those little pins.
I love the caterpillar, what a lovely close up shot. And yes, I can see how a pin cushion would come into mind. Whenever I see a hairy animal I think of what sort of wool it would produce. x
Oh yes. I have a tendency to do that too. How well it would spin or not.
Wow fabulous detail in this shot. #mysundayphoto
It was worth getting down to the same level.
Fantastic macro!
Thanks Carol.
Love the detail in this. I wouldn’t have thought of a pincushion if you hadn’t said it, but I can totally see the resemblance!
Lots of bristles or pins once you get down to the same level as them.
Hi Cheryl, love the detail, right down to it’s ‘eyes’. I do hope you named it Fluffy or something equally as lame?… Now could you create a felt pincushion caterpillar? Could be a challenge for the winter?

We didn’t stay long enough to get on first name terms, but Fluffy it could be. I like the idea of a felt pincushion in the shape of a caterpillar. Maybe….
What a wonderful photo! You have captured so much detail!
Oh Kim, thank you!
Such beautiful creatures close up
It’s amazing when you get down to the same level.
Outstanding caterpillar close up!
Thanks Jeanna!
What a cute little critter!
Wow that is one amazing capture. The detail is incredible xx
Thanks Susan. He really is an interesting wee beastie.
