Watched Day of the Triffids recently. Never sure which are more frightening in the story: the plants or the people. Definitely the people in this recent adaption.
That does look like a triffid! I hope it behaves itself! #MMBC
It’s caged now. Not taking any chances.
Great photo, I remember the original Triffids. I always find that whatever the horror it’s always the people who are the worst. (except maybe some aliens!)
Oh Yes!
It might be a carnivorous plant but it does look fab! x
Part of my son’s rainforest collection. Pretty pleased we’ve kept them going since last summer.
I haven’t read the Day of the Trifids although my husband often says our garden resembles it! #MMBC
Your garden sounds frightening!
I agree and think that was always the sentiment. How quickly would mankind descend into chaos if something like this happened. Love the book, not seen the recent adaptation, just the 70s series, which scared me silly. #MMBC
First time, I’ve felt the scales tip almost in favour of the plants.
