    1. 😀 😀 After 10 years in the planning, finally the old garage is down. Next step is to build the extension. I’m hoping it takes less than another 10 years! (Probably should add that the first photo is one of the old concrete paths being broken up. Not connected to the garage. You know how it is. When you have a skip – fill it up.)

  1. Best of luck! I know how it feels to plan and wait. 🙂 We Finally replaced the crumbling stone steps leading to our front door. I no longer have to worry about someone breaking their neck when they visit! 😳

    1. Ow! Glad you fixed the step. We had several trip hazards, that have now been fixed. Just our low doorways left to warn people about.

    1. No, I’m serious. It could take 10 years! I would love to get it finished before all the children leave home.

  2. Just found your blog and spent far too long reading back through posts when I should be doing useful stuff. What a lot of great things you make. I don’t have children but I think it’s about time I started sharing some of my craft skills with other peoples children. Your blog will be a wonderful inspiration.

    1. I hope you find an opportunity to share your craft skills. I’ve always found that children are enthusiastic to learn something new and make something of their very own.

  3. I love the way you capture the reality that progress involves a lot of transient and messy stages along the way. And it will be beautiful when your new building project is completed. Good luck with it 🙂
