It’s Christmas Eve. The children are in bed, wearing their new pyjamas, dreaming about tomorrow. Today they made culinary goodies to share with neighbours.
Gingerbread, gold painted fudge and cookies that hang from the rim of mugs.
This afternoon, we collected the turkey from the farm and delivered the goodies they had made.
Did I mention the cookies that hang off the side of mugs. Cute! And very tasty. (That’s homemade coloured sugar too)
They’ve been busy all week. Making and eating. Gingerbread houses included, of course.
Making. Lots of making.
Lots of giggling and noise. And singing and music playing.
Not forgetting getting up and out early to escape our valley, to see the winter sun rise on the Solstice.
And now they are sleeping. Ready for the next day of fun.
Happy Christmas Eve, little ones.
Hope you all have a lovely day 🙂
And to you too.
