BL had her class play today. Amazing. All the children did so well. I think the teachers worked miracles. I took loads of video and stills, but this one is my favourite, even if it is cropped. (I don’t like posting photos of other people’s children.) It just makes me giggle. Anyway, BL was very happy. Can you tell?
For more homemade fun go over to Pink and Green Mama. She has got a great book give away at the moment. Its Homemade Fun by Rae Grant. Don’t leave it too long as it closes today.
Wonderful!!! Love it!!!
Thanks. So simple and so much fun.
SO,SO COOL, cheers Marie
Thanks. I think we all enjoyed making it and I know BL had loads of fun.

Thank you. Seeing as the materials were mainly whatever was to hand and recycled, I think it came out pretty good.
BL looked amazing, what a fantastic mask. Was that your handiwork?
The mask was drawn by one of the teachers at school. Then BL coloured it and added the feathers. She obviously enjoyed doing it as she finished off one of the other owl masks as well.
It’s great! My daughter’s friend was once the star in the school play, we had a minor role. I was talking to the star’s mother one day and asked her what she was doing for the costume. She wouldn’t know what to do with needle and thread. Oh, I’ve told school you’re making it, she said. She hadn’t even got any material. I did it, only as I felt so sorry for the little girl. However…I made sure my daughter had something that really stood out. Got to be fair…
Hmm. That sounds like the opposite experience to mine. I love making the costumes, but I’m not sure I’d have the time to take on more.
Great costume!
I have an award for you here:
