Some days, there is nothing like just going out and admiring the leaves.
Maybe collecting some too.
Because the colours are breath taking.
Children go from “lets-stay-home” to “what’s-round-the-corner” in the space of a car journey.

What a beautiful place to be able to explore, there’s nothing better than a wooded area in autumn. The leaves really are coming down thick and fast now and they’re in such beautiful colours too. Everyone looks like they’re enjoying their day out in the fresh air surrounded by the sights of autumn, I bet they wouldn’t admit it so easily though! Thanks for linking up with me on Country Kids.

It has been a good year for a colourful display.
It really has been the loveliest Autumn this year – we, like you guys obviously do, love getting out and about in the woods. Consequently we have a house full of dead leaves and twigs – definitely never going to win a tidiest house competition! Love all your photos, what beautiful woodland x
Ours neither, but I know I prefer it that way. Especially if the children are connecting with the seasons and nature.

It is a beautiful time of year, the colours are amazing and they seem to change everyday!
Loving the colours still, but they are starting to thin out now.
Aaah I’m totally with you!! I absolutely love getting getting outside at this time of year! I have loved kicking piles of autumn leaves since I was a little girl — it’s lovely to do this with my tiny boys!!
