Today was a good day. We went to the lavender farm with friends. A truly soothing day.
This week we have dug big, deep holes in the garden, that we don’t want to dig. We’ve discovered that we have wonderful friends who are willing to give their time to help, when it comes to the crunch.
More digging to do and I’m yearning for life to go back to normal.
Visiting a farm full of lavender could not have been a more perfect retreat from it all. Just a few hours.
I love seeing the making process.
And the rows and rows of lavender.
For the rest of the summer, I’m going to turn off comments and post up a few photos every now and again. More like an occasional postcard. Hopefully by September, live will be back to normal.
I really hope so.
