When I look at this photo, from our holiday in Scotland this summer, I am transported back. The tarn is half way up a mountain. One of those moment where you imagine you could dive in, but simultaneously know you wouldn’t.
(From our “Upside down tree” walk that’s still on my list to write up)
Lovely shot!
Thanks Carol
What a gorgeous scene. The water does look so inviting x
But very cold!
Looks gorgeous! Think I would have been tempted to jump in! 🙂 #sundayphoto
You must be made of sterner stuff than me!
Wonderful view. Has a calming relaxing feel to it.
Thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Yes it was a calming spot.
Hi Ceryl, it looks so peaceful there. I’m guessing that water wasn’t even remotely warm.

Cold. Most definitely cold, although that didn’t put a few dogs off going in. Not mine, of course!
Lovely capture!
Thank you.
such a wonderful view – lovely photo
Thanks. It was a beautiful day too.
Would you believe I was in the sea today. that said I had my wet suit on. I can see why you were temped to dive in here, it looks so clean and fresh. #MySundayPhoto
I think a wet suit is a remarkably good idea. 🙂
Beautiful capture Cheryl. That water is making me feel cold just looking at it!
Thanks for sharing with #MMBC. x
There were a couple of dogs enjoying it, but no other brave souls.
