Nee deep….nee deep! Hehe great fun close up, although I’m not so sure that I would have picked him up. Nothing personal just I’m not sure I’d like to get that close…unless of course there’s the chance of a prince nearby?
Have a great Sunday 😀
Oh, he’s cute! (cuter than a slow worm!) 😉
What a fantastic capture, found in your wild garden no doubt?
What a gorgeous photo. He’s so tiny!
It looks so small, my girls would not have been keen to see that
Thank you for linking up
What a beauty, I’ve been seeing a fair few in our garden lately but not sure I would get that close. Great picture #MySundayPhoto
Thanks Lin. They really are the sweetest of creatures.
Oh wow, how fascinating to see a toad so close up. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to pick one up though!
Fab photo! You keep capturing things that scare me though. hehehe

That’s a good close up shot. Funny, someone in the neighborhood said there were dozens of frogs down the street for some reason but I didn’t see any. Heard them though.
This is just fabulous! So much detail on this little fella. I love the clarity of his eye. #MySundayPhoto
Oh what a cutie!
My kids would dive right in for a hold of him!
#MySundayPhoto
What a fun photo. I know you have to hold then gently but firmly so they don’t jump away … well done to capture him on camera. #MyPhotoSunday Annette
Wowee, you’re braver than me! I’m not sure I could have held him x
Great shot – I love little frogs. #MMBC
It’s a fantastic shot but one I’d be too scared to take. I’ve just been talking to my mom about a toad in her garden and I said I’d scream if it jumped out at me. However, she did point out how good they are for eating the slugs so they do have their uses 😉
Hi Cheryl, what a great shot! I love the eye and the detail you’ve managed to capture. I bet he didn’t stay still for long though!
xx
No, he was ready to go. We didn’t keep him long. Busy life, eating slugs.
