From the advent truck today, emerged the green man bearing gifts from the trees.
We brought in the evergreens and thanked the trees,
we selected our yule log,
we lit our fire to tempt the sun back,
and we attached notes to the log. Each note documenting the things we wished to leave behind.
Then we talked while the yule log warmed our home.
Happy Solstice.
I’m going to take a break from this space until after the holidays.
I’d like to wish you and your families a peaceful Christmas full of wonder and happiness.
Sounds like you have some wonderful traditions! Have a very merry Christmas!
Our family traditions keep on growing as the children get bigger. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
