Today was an inset (teacher training ) day, so half term started a day earlier. An extra day to play with the children. I planned some painting time. I had the paints, brushes and paper at the ready. Ideas floating about in my head. Inspired and ready to inspire.
So they made these:
Cute, but no paint brushes were dirtied in their making. And afterwards they played “Mice” and stole fruit from the fruit box that had been delivered. I’m not sure all of it has been returned, so this game may go on tomorrow. I may have to employ a couple of mice detectives to track down the missing loot, unless it is all too late [image of a trail of apple cores and orange peel].
Ah well, just go with the flow.
