Joining in for the next round of #AlphabetPhoto today. I knew just the photo to use. Alert and anxious that she might be left out. This photo was taken as the Christmas turkey was being carved.
Always challenging getting a front view of their heads. With such long muzzles, the eyes and the nose are seldom all in focus. Doesn’t help that she kept moving her head to keep an eye on the potential yummy food behind me.
So are you joining in this time round? It can be one from the archives. Find out more at the fabulous PODcast.
I am not joining this time………good photo for A. Ironically I do have a post beginning with A today!
Funny how these things work. I’m looking forward to another round of photos.
Oh this shot made me smile so much! I love it! x #alphabetphoto
She does have a surprisingly expressive face.
What a gorgeous face! #alphabetphoto
She only had eyes for the food!
Ash the Dog says – Now this is just how I looked when Nanny was carving the Turkey on Christmas Day……. #alphabetphoto
Never miss a trick. 😀
Brilliant! I love how quick and alert dogs are when they hear meat being carved!! #alphabetphoto
Too true. Amazing how they can hear the clink of the carving knife, even when they are sleeping deeply.
Oh how wonderful, what a lovely dog – well done for the head view! I do miss having a dog, maybe we can get one for POD when she’s bigger. Thank you so much for sharing and joining in #alphabetphoto
Sounds like a good plan. Dogs make for a wonderful childhood. 🙂
What a gorgeous pooch and a very intelligent and alert looking one too. Fabulous picture 🙂
No-one was going to miss her out!
A beautiful A. My Stella could’ve been found, head down at my dad’s feet waiting for a morsel of turkey to magically drop. Which it did! 😀
What a fab image. I can just see her waiting. Dogs are wonderful. 😀
hooray – when you reached z last year i was a little sad that the alphabet had come to an end, but we’re starting over! hooray!
and oh, what a perfect photo to start with, i just love your pupper. too bad we don’t live close enough to get our dogs together – they would have such a good time!
I think the dogs would love it. They would have fun. Plus I would get to cuddle your fluffy pal.
