The weather has been lovely today. This afternoon, I took a moment to wander around the garden, looking for inspiration. I found it, but I also found a lot of moments that made me smile. Big and small.
The garden is very alive and colourful. Yes, there are areas that are a bit bare and need to be tackled. The rest more than makes up for it.
Everywhere I looked there was something that was calling out to be noticed. All of the images are being stored up ready to be translated into a craft project or just a beautiful memory.
Not just plants making me smile…
The girls taking time to show concern for one of the cockerels. They chat away to the chickens and between themselves. Their caring nature warms my heart.
And our newest tractor driver. We do start then young in Zummerset. How can I help but smile! (Its OK, the engine is off)
So what about the inspiration. I got it. I’ll show you when I start it. If you don’t mind, I think I’ll just enjoy being outside a little bit longer…..
Your Garden sounds and looks lovely…
Are you being a spoil sport not letting that tractor driver show his paces …lol
I’m just not sure he has mastered the steering wheel well enough to turn left before he hits the neighbour’s fence! Maybe when he’s older. Let’s say 16 years older.
The photos are beautiful and he looks right at home on the tractor, better hide the keys!
Hee, hee. He’d love to get hold of the keys.
Your chickens look HUGE!
The cockerels are the big ones. They are cream legbars. The hens are dwarfed by these boys.
