My Great Grandpa bred Shires..My Grandfather was a horseman and My Great Uncle was presented with a medal at the Show in London by the King the first time a tenant farmer had achieved this…I wish I owned one!
Oh my goodness. That sounds fascinating. Fabulous beasts. The local brewery to my parents, still use them to pull the carts, when delivering to the pubs in the town, but I’ve no other experience of them, except at shows. I wonder what your local moose would think of them!
I’ve posted a few more photos up. Probably more vintage than you have on your farm!

What beautiful creatures! I grew up near an Amish community…this photo takes me back!
I would love to visit an Amish farm one day. From what I have read, their farms and way of lives are fascinating.
Ok I’m totally intrigued not to say darn nosy :0)

Beautiful location. Spectacular views. I think all the fresh air knocked me out!
Have you suddenly taken a job as a farmhand, very intruiging, can’t wait to hear more, love the photo. x
No, I promise that no one left me in charge of a plough of any description. Would be fun though! 😀
Can’t wait to see more!
