We’re back. We’ve spent a few days walking on Exmoor, with muddy boots to prove it. I have some wonderful sights to share, once I’ve caught up.
Only four pairs of boots in this photo, because the other pair are on my feet.
I just don’t want to stop!

A good number of miles walked, but not a single blister! Children still love their boots and are planning more walks.

Not the sunniest or warmest summer, but brilliant for walks. My children were even doing rain dances, so they could try out their new waterproofs!

TF was excited to be included in this year’s walking boot shopping trip. His boots are really cute. Almost makes me wish he could stay that size, but he keeps on growing.
I have fond memories of Cheddar Gorge – your walk looks lovely. I have three good walkers, but the smallest is more keen on shoulder carries than walking.
The gorge walk is beautiful. Not quite on our doorstep, but near enough to call local. I refuse to carry anyone now, although my husband seems to manage it. TF is so determined to keep up with the others that he pretty much walks the same distance as them. Only problem is that the more they walk, the longer we have to walk the next time to tire them out!
And we don’t want you to stop! Just keep remembering to take pictures!!

Its no good. My garden and preserve pan are beckoning. Although the children are already planning our next trip. (I’ve got a new memory card and battery. Yeh!)
I’m jealous
So much to see. I keep on telling the children that we would never see these things from the car.
