Patchwork cushion and a zipper pouch

I’m over on Minerva Crafts blog today, with a cushion cover and zipper pouch. I’m talking about how easy it is to make the half square triangles and explaining how I make them. A bit of a “how-to”.

Please pop over and let me know what you think.

I have a couple of zippered pouches in my handbag, which I bought – now, they are dingy and I keep telling myself to try and make new ones. I did try it years ago, but it wasn’t as nice as the ones from the Etsy sellers. But maybe I could make another attempt. Yours looks perfect!

    • Craft Mother says:

The pouch is really easy to make. I used the tutorial from Made Every Day and added padding. I liked that the ends of the zip are nicely hidden. I have so many rescued zips and scraps of fabric, I really should make more. Nice to buy through Etsy, but don’t rule out giving it another shot.

  • Wow! Well done with your feature!
I love the stamp fabric and the patchwork pattern you used on the cushion. Another beautiful make from you. 😀 #MMBC
